Looks like the camera corps are making the right move in building projectors into certain point-and-shoot models.
This week, our poll is simple and straightforward. What operating system are you using?

Personally, I’m using Mac OS X Snow Leopard. About half a year ago my Windows XP laptop stopped working, and I decided to give Apple a shot. I’m not particularly loyal to any OS, so my next OS could be anything.

Looks like there’s no effect, since many people have even better vision in their viewfinder eye. Interesting…
This week’s poll has to do with a minor trend in camera equipment. While Jessica was down at PMA 2010 about a week ago, she noticed camera makers are beginning to include built-in projectors in their point-and-shoot cameras for you to view and share photographs by projecting them onto a wall.
Our question is this: would you use it if it was available on your camera?

This week’s question has to do with your eyesight. I’ve noticed lately that the eye I use to see through the viewfinder (my right eye) isn’t as good as my left, non-viewfinder eye. I’m wondering whether this is due to the fact that I’m looking through the viewfinder so much with my right eye.
Is your viewfinder eye different than your other eye? Do you think photography affects your eyesight?

Most of you voted that Google shouldn’t be using photos marked “All Rights Reserved”, especially because advertising is served alongside the maps.
This week’s poll is similar. We’re wondering whether you’ve ever had photographs stolen and republished without yourself permission. Also, is it a problem you’re concerned with?

Yesterday we reported that Hasselblad will be launching a new camera in a little over a week: the H4D-40. While medium format film photography is popular among amateur enthusiasts, its digital counterpart has been largely inaccessible due to the price – a typical digital back costs over $10,000.
Our poll question this week has to do with whether you would jump into medium format digital photography if it became much more affordable. Is price what’s keeping you out?
