Woah.. That's unimpressive! So much work and that's all you get?

I read about it and thought: 'hmmm, interesting...' Then I looked at a few photographs and though: 'Hot air...'

The 3D 360 degree panoramas on HDR-labs picturenaut are impressive: http://www.hdrlabs.com/gallery/index.html

They've made it from 'cool piece of software' to a 'wtf I'll probably never use that shit since I can't afford it anyway'. Maybe it's free now, but wait until they realize how much 'potential' customers they might have.

Innovative my ass ...

Cool effect, but seriously -- who is going to want to watch images slosh back and forth over such a small angle for any length of time?

I discovered accidentally that my RSS feed displayed the images separately, and that I could "free-view" them in stereo by centering my eyes between them and relaxing my vision a bit. It takes a bit of practice, but it seems more practical than the piku-piku effect.

If you have two cameras going at the same time with a remote trigger and somehow positioned 3 inches on the side of the firing camera (maybe by mounting it next to the main camera), you can probably have this effect.
