I got a 50mm f/1.8 lens. I've wanted a fast prime lens for a while but never bought one for myself. I'm now on a quest for a better camera bag.

I received a Speedlite EX 430II, Photoshop Elements 8, Wacom Bamboo Fun, a diffuser for the speedlite. I say I did pretty well for Christmas!

I got gift cards that I used toward my new nikon d90
I got a Canon 50mm f1/8 lens that was on my wish list.
Sort of.. I bought myself a new Panasonic GF1 + the sweet 20mm f1.7
I got cash towards a new camera body, and a bunch of accessories for my current camera body; unfortunately, all of those accessories will not work with any of the new camera bodies I'm looking at :(
Maybe I'll just save it towards a bigger lens, instead.

I got a little Sony pocket-size point and shoot. I've never used anything but a DLR, SLR or a DSLR, and I'm having problems getting used to this thing–especially the shutter lag, lack of manual adjustments, and the tiny controls. I've never had to deal with these limitations in any of my past or current equipment. I'm keeping it with me in my pocket, but I don't know if I can ever get past the limitations.

I bought a shiny new Pentax K-x as a gift to myself. Kind of mixed birthday-Christmas-another_job_well_done present.
I got Crumpler's Whickey and Cox backpack for a combo birthday/Christmas present, and a book that will help me learn more about using the Canon 40D — looking forward to spending time using both :)
Not really. But I did buy myself Scott Kelby's 'Lightroom 2' and Robin Sellick's 'Facing' books just before Christmas. Does that count? ;-)

Joy of joy got a 22inch Philips monitor for my computer, a Sony Cyber-shot 12.1 mega pixel camera, a Samsung NV100HD 14.7 mega pixel camera and now I am having lots of fun taking photos of all different subjects with the two new cameras and my faithful Canon.
Life sure is gooooood!!!!!!!

I'm into concert photography, so my sister got me a book of photos by Jim Marshall called Trust. Jimi, The Stones, Janis, they're all there. It counts, right?
