I make the same resolution every year, and never do very well with it:

Don't worry so much about making good pictures. Instead, concentrate effort on creating the conditions under which good pictures are possible.

When I stress too much about making specific pictures I have in my head, the results usually look contrived and stagey. If instead I concentrate on creating favorable conditions, the pictures usually just flow out.

2. Katie says:

Yes – I will be participating in Project 365 this year! One photo for every day of 2010. Hoping to make it a good one!

3. cedarwaxwing says:

To learn how to use the Nikon (D60) my husband gave me last Christmas. I still have not watched the videos that came with it.

4. William says:

To save up for better glass and then get out more to events. Maybe even try the Project 365.. or maybe at least once a week.

5. Faylin Myhre says:

To take one picture everyday and post it on my blog.
To read and study photo books, blogs, websites and photos
To believe in me, the only person really keeping me from what I want to do with photography is ME!
Most of all to keep having fun with my camera!

6. I'm planning to tackle Project 365 this year!

7. Becky says:

My resolution is pretty weak — upload one picture per week to Flickr. I don't even have to have taken it in the past week, or even post-processed it, but I do need one good picture every week.

I have a two-month-old and I'm going back to work in February. There's no way I can commit to a Project 365, alas.

8. Laura says:

- To organize my photos better
- To continue to enjoy shooting photos

9. eonarts says:

1. to enter more juried shows (starting w/Rayko plastic camera on 1/4/10
2. to complete the statements for 3 of my series currently working on
3. to shoot more for 3 projects (which includes plying my sis with wine so she'll model for me)
4. to start at least 2 new series.

10. Marc says:

Going through my Lightroom catalogue and only too 60% of the frames I did in 2008, so I need to take more photos! And since I'm started to familiarized myself with film again, I want to shoot more film.

11. Me, too, Katie! See you there! I tried last year, starting late, and made it a couple of weeks before I fizzled out. I think I was trying too hard to get something artsy every day. This year I'm just going for snaps, “a day in the life” sort of thing.

12. Wait–did my D-80 come with a video????

13. Take pictures of all the DCR parks in Massachusetts… there are over 150 so not sure how many I'll get to in '10 but am excited.

14. Mine are just to try and increase my chances of being in the right place at the right time. So lots more early morning pre dawn starts and scouting for new locations. Hopefully in a years time it will pay off.

I hope I can pull it off!

18. Like some others, I plan to complete a Project 365 this year – or what I'll call Photo Of the Day (POD 2010) – One photo for every day of 2010 (http://bit.ly/5FRCVz). Started something like this toward the end of this year, just trying to capture a photo or two per week (http://bit.ly/8orFW1).

19. readingtofour says:

I am going to shoot and share a picture a day. I have to cameras, Nikon D60 and a new-to-me D200. I am curious to see which one gets shots shared more often. I sure hope it's the D200. ;-)

20. Desfolio says:

I'm going to do a personal photowalk around my city at least once a week.

21. Wow, that's a pretty serious commitment :-)

22. Desfolio says:

I think it's manageable, definitely more so than the 365 project, IMO. I see it as a win/win; I take more photos while also seeing & rediscovering Atlanta through a photogenic perspective. :)

23. dahak_z says:

Yes, I made absolutely clear to myself that every Friday is photo Friday.

24. TCRPMG says:

I started a photography blog. That is my goal for this year.

25. garethrobins says:

I'm doing a Project 365. Held up 100% so far. It's hard to acheive without themes for each month, so January will be “What's happening in my day”, Feb will be “Through the eyes of my Son” He's 4, and I think this will make me see his world a little differently. You can check out the pictures and the detail on my blog http://feeds.feedburner.com/GarethRobins

26. janrieger says:

New Year's 2009: I decided to start entering a few photo contests. What the hell. I WON the fourth one I entered! It's on the home page of my PR biz web site: http://www.mclanerieger.com Won $500 and one big thrill!

So guess what I'll be doing more of in 2010?
