I think that what's really interesting watching videos filmed by still photographers is this sense of what videos essentially are: motion pictures.

In most of Chung's videos, he has a static frame, or one that doesn't pan as much as general news/documentary style filming might. There's still that focus on the "defining moment", composition, all elements of great still photography, only given the motion of the video medium.

And while I probably wouldn't buy a DSLR for the video aspect specifically, I probably wouldn't mind if it did have that feature, if just to play with. Assuming I had the money to toss around, haha.

Who cares?

I'm not a videographer, enough with the DSLRs making VIDEO their primary selling point, it's crap. I care about stills, I care about low light STILL shooting, I care about high speed drive, I care about the quality of the view finder, shutter life and so on.

I do not care if my DSLR can stream HDwhatever video to whatever device at whatever quality under whatever light, that's stupid. Video production isn't related to photography just because they share similar technical aspects. I do mean SIMILAR not the same…
