I've been using Fotomoto since April on my photoblog and can second all the opinions expressed here. It's extraordinarily easy to set up (on my WordPress-based blog, it involved nothing more than pasting a block of HTML into the page footer after creating my Fotomoto account) and integrates very cleanly with the existing blog design.

The biggest benefit to me over other services such as ImageKind (which I also use) is that I can offer a very large number of pictures for sale without having to prepare high-resolution, keyworded, captioned, print-ready versions of each one in advance. Prints are offered based on the low resolution versions on the blog and I only have to do final print work on those which are actually ordered.

On top of this, my customer support experience has been great - bugs I reported during the early beta were typically fixed within a couple of days - and the folks at the company are very responsive to feedback and suggestions. Oh, and did I mention that orders are filled very quickly and that the print quality is excellent?

Needless to say, I have no affiliation with Fotomoto other than being a delighted customer.

I am using the Fotomoto service on my photoblog as well.

One thing to note is that by default, they will send you a check if your balance is over $200. But they also mention that if your balance is less than $200, you can still make a request for a check to be sent to your address.

By the way, there's a typo in this article: "since it’s takes the pain..." should be "since it takes the pain..."

Cheers,

~Eugene

Fotomoto does work well, there are still some kinks to work out while it's in Beta - such as credit card processing (it's paypal only at the moment) - but I'm impressed with the functionality.

It's worth mentioning that they currently use Bay Photo in California for prints, and they are a very respectable lab.
