I was only able to make photos in more intimate settings where I'd met the people. I just put many of these principles into practice in East Africa on a recent trip. I am going to try and do a freestyle photoshoot on Sunday in my city downtown. I hope people show up with the intention of being photographed. If people don't, i'll be on the move for some other type of street shots but still in a 'freestyle' frame of mind. I don't even own a camera, but have been looking around for one that is very economical but good enough to take nice, clear pictures. I'm living on a fixed income. But so is my cousin and she is doing it. She even took classes. I can't even afford that, but would just try it on my own just for the fun of it. Could you give me some tips on what would be a good camera to buy which won't hurt my pocket? And I loved this article. When I start out, I will keep these hints in mind.
