Not sure if Flickr has changed recently, but I find my photos require no sharpening at all now. It is now on the verge of oversharpening now. Kind of bugs me since I like to save all my low res web versions in one folder, sharpened and ready to go. I don't like having a set which is unsharpened just for Flickr.

This is the best sharpen for web tutorial I have found. It makes my pictures look very Flickr-esque and I love, love, love it for posting picture on my website at whatever size I want them at.

Flickr should give you the option of adding their sharpening or not. I apply the right amount of sharpening to my photos before I upload. I hate it, because they add more and then it becomes oversharpened which is just as bad as being soft IMO.

Yeah, I've tried those too, but it doesn't come anywhere close to the kind of sharpness Flickr applies to photographs.

Good tip though!
